She had been a Transporter for the Central Indiana Council on Aging and was a member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. She was a an Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Nurses Guild at New Covenant.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, children: Eddie Poston, Jr, and Judy Ann Wise; siblings: James L. Wise (Delilah), John Wise Beasley (Helen) and Maybell Harley; grandchildren: Derek Carpenter, Shina Boggan, Reginald Elzy, Adrian Newson, Shameka Wise and 6 great grandchildren and a host of extended loving family and friends.
The visitation will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm in New Covenant Missionary Bapist Church, 1800 W. 57th Street, Indianapolis.
