Maureen Margaret Helen Shackelford

Maureen Margaret Helen (Lagarde) Shackelford, age 76, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Maureen was born on June 19, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Jean and Helen Lagarde. Maureen loved to spend time with her family, playing games, making crafts, taking hikes or just sitting and talking. She loved working in her extensive flower garden and ensuring that all manner of birds also came and enjoyed it (except for grackles and starlings). Maureen is survived by Paul her loving husband and partner of 52 years, her children Jason and Tim (Phoebe) and her granddaughters Clover, Juniper and Willow. A visitation for Maureen will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
