

He attended Saint Rita and Arsenal Technical High School. As a young man, he participated in St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church Operation Bread Basket under the direction of Dr. Andrew J. Brown.
Micheal enjoyed cooking fried potatoes and chicken. He was a former employee of Link Belt and later became a Social Entertainment Representative and was on The Neighborhood Watch Committee. He was well known in the community as an avid bike rider. Michael had a way of expressing himself that kept others engaged all through the night.
Micheal departed this life suddenly on July 31, 2015 at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather MaKinley Patterson from Shreveport LA, his father Harilee Patterson and his brother Bruce A. Patterson; his paternal grandmother Irene McCray and maternal grandmother Sarah Phelps.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Jessie F. Patterson, one sister Brenda E. Patterson, two brother:,Harliee V. and Kurtis E. Patterson; 5 Aunts, 2 Uncles, 7 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great nieces, 5 great nephews, many cousins, friends and his dog Brownie.
