Michael Eugene Todd

Michael E. Todd, 62, a lifetime resident of Indianapolis, passed away February 13, 2020 after a long, courageous battle with a heart condition. He was born on September 24, 1957, to Eddie R and Sandra J (Bradford) Todd. A 1976 graduate of Ben Davis High School, Mike was a successful wrestler and football player for the BD Giants. After high school Mike attended Indiana Central where he played football. Mike worked for several racing teams for over 20 years and was on a winning Indy Lights team in 2019. He also worked for Jordan Technologies. Mike was an active Mason. Mike will always be remembered as someone who loved life. His positive outlook touched so many hearts. He celebrated the big moments and the small ones. He was a strong Christian serving at Chapel Rock Christian Church in many areas and was a friend to all. He never met a stranger. Mike was a history buff and loved learning about his family history and his relations to the McCormick Family 1st settlers of Indianapolis as the 4th Great Grandson of Samuel. Mike spent 4 years researching and pushing his way through many doors to make sure everyone knew of the McCormick’s and their contribution to Indianapolis. He was a walking encyclopedia in regards to everything in life. And everyone who knew him well, knew you don’t ever challenge him in Trivia. Mike was an avid Race Fan. He also loved his Pittsburg Steelers and Boston Red Sox. Mike was a family man. He is survived by his beloved wife Annmarie Levendoski Todd and his daughter Molly Todd. Mike is also survived by three sisters, Peggy (Alan) Royer, Tamie Todd, and Kim (Keith) Redman. 13 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews. All which loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents Dee and Eddie Todd. Mike will be greatly missed by so many friends whom he considered brothers and sisters rather than friends. He loved you all. A Celebration of Life and service will be held to honor Mike at Chapel Rock Christian Church, 2020 North Girls School Road, in Indianapolis on Wednesday February 26th at 6 pm. Meal to follow.
