Monte James Wilson

72, of Greenfield, IN. passed away February 10, 2013. He was born February 29, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Emile James and Sally Mae (Browning) Wilson. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 – 1967, receiving a commendation for his actions in the Cuban Crisis. He worked for International Harvester as an area manager for 15 years then CMW Inc as a senior application engineer for 22 years, retiring in 2010. Monte helped coach his sons little league and Babe Ruth League teams. Monte is survived by his wife Marilyn (Collins) Wilson, children Michael, Andrew (Wendy), Timothy Wilson, Sheryl “Sheri” (Gary) Garner, step children Lonnie Hoversten, Rebecca Bolton, Justin McDaniel, sister Deedree K. Schaedel, 5 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his first wife Linda Claire (Foss) Wilson. Funeral services will be Thursday February 14 at 11 am at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Burial will be at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
