Mr. Arnie Lee Pointer, Jr., 89, Indianapolis, passed away on March 8, 2017. He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Arnie retired as a Pressman from the Indianapolis Star & News. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a Prince Hall Mason.Arnie leaves to cherish his memory; children: Garnell Smith and Cheryl Smith; daughter in law, Irma Pointer; long time companion, Mary Hamler and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The visitation is Tuesday, March 14, 2017, 9am - 11am, with the service at 11am at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. The interment will immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
