Paul W. Dillon, 84, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. Born in Irvington, Paul was a lifelong east-sider. In 2011, Paul and his wife of 65 years, Mildred (Midge) L. Dillon, relocated to Franklin United Methodist Community. Paul is survived by four of his children, Michael Dillon (Donna), Patrick Dillon (Debbie), Timothy Dillon (Elizabeth), and MaryAnne George (Rick George). He is preceded in death by his eldest son Paul William Dillon and daughter Helen. Paul had nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He had two brothers, David and Bob, and a sister, Barbara. Paul worked hard his entire life as a tile setter and member of the Carpenters Union Local 60; he retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in 1990. He was a fan of Notre Dame football, the Detroit Tigers, and the Indianapolis 500. Of all the things he loved, he loved his family most.
