Mr. John (Jon) Elliott Farmer, 63, Indianapolis, was born on December 23, 1952 in Princeton, Kentucky. He passed away on May 25, 2016 in Indianapolis.He attended elementary school at IPS #42 and was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School. Jon attended Indiana State University, where he became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He was an established entrepreneur and was most known for his accomplished skills as a Cobbler who specialized in Shoe Repair and Leather Goods.Jon was preceded in death by his wife, Tanya and father, John E. Farmer (Kay). He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Dorothy Farmer; sons: Robert and TJ, daughters: Erica, Chantae, Brandi, Aubrey and Jasmine; siblings: Donna Farmer, Debra Bunch (Michael), Betty Farmer, Florence Cissy Farmer, Darrell Farmer, Linda Farmer, Dwayne Farmer and Jermane Farmer; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends. His visitation is Wednesday, June 1, 2016, 10am - 11am, with the service at 11am in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel.
