passed away June 3, 2010. He retired from the Naval Avionics Center after 36 years. He was a Veteran of the Navy, having served from 1944 - 1946 as Steward's Mate on board the U.S.S. Guam. His church home was Forest Manor United Methodist Church, and he was very supportive and active in church activities and new ministries there. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Betty J. Battles Newbolt; daughters, Tanya, Andrea, and Kimberly Newbolt, Lynne Johnson; step-daughters, Angie Henderson, Darlene Battles, Katherine Ford; sister, Mildred Shaw; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
