Lee Isaac Wilson, Sr. was born Lee Isaac Hogsette to Lizzie Wilson and Sammie Hogsette on December 6, 1945 in indianola, Mississippi. Lee attended Ruleville High School. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of oak Grove Baptist Church in Shaw Mississippi. Lee moved to Chicago, Illinois where he changed his name to Lee Isaac Wilson. Lee met and married Ruth Joanne Timmons and to this union was born three children, Andre Wilson, Lee Jr. (Tony), and Robert (Squirt) Wilson. He later met and married his life partner, Patricia Franklin, and to this union was born two children, Michele and Carse Franklin. Lee Isaac Wilson, Sr. was a hardworking husband and father. He worked for and retired from Local #120 Laborers Union. Lee lived life to the fullest, and never took no for an answer. He was a family oriented and caring man. He often took trips back "home" to Mississippi to visit with family and friends. His favorite pastime was watching westerns.
