71, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 surrounded by her family. Born December 30, 1940 In Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Corrine Burris Brown and George Brown. Darlene retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 25 years of service, and was a member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was brother, Charles L. Edwards; sister, Georgiann R. Craig; and mother, Corinne B. Williams.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 45 years Ronald M. Cartwright Sr.; daughter, Jill A. Jackson Amis; son, Ronald M. Cartwright Jr., ; grandchildren, Jenell M. Daniels, Donovan L. Amis, Ronald A. Cartwright; nephew, Charles (Pat) Craig; nieces, Geri V. Robinson, Kim (Clyde) Harris, Pamela Edwards; nephew, Charles Edwards Jr., David (Theresa) Edwards, Brian Edwards and a host of cousins and old friends.
