Nancy was born to Charles and Alice Johnson in Waterloo, Iowa on Feb 21, 1930.
A graduate of Cornell College of Iowa in 1950, Nancy was an elementary school teacher for many years. She performed volunteer work after her retirement from teaching.
She was a member of the Castleton United Methodist Church, the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the Indianapolis Zoo Guild. Nancy’s love of flowers was enhanced when she completed the Purdue Master Gardeners’s program and through her many years as a member of the Broadripple Garden Club.
She is survived by her loving children Karen Kinney (Jon) of Brownsburg,
Kurt W. Ringgenberg, Indianapolis and her sister Barbara Mullan, of Marion, Iowa.
Her loving husband of 58 years, Lyle L.Ringgenberg, and her parents, preceded her in death.
