Carol J. Ward 80 of Indianapolis, died May 19, 2010. She was born February 14, 1930 in Almond, WI to Ralph and Lisetta Adams. She worked 20 years for Indianapolis Public Schools before retiring in 1990. Carol loved RV'ing with her husband John (Jack) of 52 years. She was an avid walker and loved meeting with her many friends. She was a devout Christian and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Oaklandon. She is survived by her husband and three children Robert (Bob) Ward and his wife Linda, Steven ( Steve) and his wife Annette, and Thomas (Tom) and his wife Peggy, Grandchildren Tony, and Sarah Ward, Lydia, Zach and Emmie Ward one sister Joyce Adams Wolfe and nieces Patricia (Patty) and Linda who reside in Stevens Point WI. Funeral Services will be Tuesday May 25, 2010 at 12:00 PM in Holy Cross Lutheran Church 8115 Oaklandon Road, where friends may call from 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Church or Cancer Centers of Central Indiana 10212 Lantern Road, Fishers, IN 46037.
