N. Louise Craig-Shrout

Louise was born in Indianapolis to Asahel Ralph Gwinn and Theresa Margaret Mae Gwinn on October 14, 1942. Louise married her first husband, James "Jim" E. Craig in Brownsburg on September 15, 1967. Together they shared 2 children Michelle and Michael before Jim's untimely death to ALS in 1986.

On August 29, 2004 Louise married her second husband Bobby G. Shrout at Williams Park in Brownsburg. Together they built a house and blended their families for over 20 years.

Louise graduated from Mooresville High School and received her cosmetology license. She also passed the state test for home and auto insurance, her proudest career accomplishment. Louise retired from Allstate and Hometown Insurance.

Louise is preceded in death by her father Ralph Gwinn and her mother Theresa Gwinn, her first husband Jim Craig, their daughter Michelle Wells, and their son Michael Craig as well as her second husband Bobby "Cowboy" Shrout.

Louise is survived by her brother John Gwinn (Sharon), her sister Margaret Keith, grandson Andrew Craig, son-in-law Chris Wells, granddaughter Samantha Wells (Shane), and great-grandchildren Kelley and Zachary Gentry. She also leaves behind her stepchildren Terry Shrout (Diane) and Christy Farmiga (Rob) as well as step grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and her sweet dog Missy.

Visitation will be Friday, February 27 from 11am-1pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 1PM. Louise will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery following the service.
