She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Josephine and Edward, as well as her sister Ann. Also waiting for her were her service dogs, E-ore and Degas.
Despite the challenges of Cerebral Palsy, Nancey lived a full life. Her determination was legendary.
She graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a degree in psychology and was employed at Larue Carter Hospital as a clinical testing associate for over 30 years.
Nancey was an active member of Soroptimists and a very long term board member of United Cerebral Palsy of Indiana. She worked very very hard to advocate for those with disabilities. Along with E-ore and then Degas she was a dedicated ambassador for Canine Companions for Independence.
Nancey loved people and she touched many lives.
Visitation will be 9:00 am to 10:30 am Saturday, November 3 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Chuch, 5692 Central Ave. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
