Nancy Lynn Christopherson

Nancy Lynn Christopherson beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, in Mission Viejo, California, at the age of 80. Nancy was a resident of Zionsville, Indiana. Born on January 17, 1945, in San Diego, California, Nancy brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Christopherson, and her son, John Christopherson. She is survived by her son Jim and wife CC Christopherson, daughter-in-law Stephanie Christopherson, daughter Pam and husband Mike Elliott, son David and wife Robin Christopherson, son Robert Christopherson, daughter Suzanne and husband Charles Jordan, son Stephen and wife Kaitlyn Christopherson, as well as grandchildren Emily, Henry, Joe, Luke, Eve, Sydney, Shane, Scott, Sarah, Anthony, Sean, Faye, Dorothy, David and great-grandchildren Caroline, George, Charlie, and Tommy.

Nancy graduated from San Diego State University and became an elementary school teacher who touched the lives of young students. Nancy’s most fulfilling roles were mother of seven children and nana to fourteen grandchildren. In her free time, Nancy found solace in her garden, where she nurtured beautiful flowers and plants with care and dedication.

Nancy never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity made a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Nancy will be remembered for her gentle, loving spirit and her unwavering love for her family. She had a special gift for bringing family together and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

A service to honor and celebrate Nancy's life will be held on April 4, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Gothic Chapel in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Although Nancy has left this world, her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

A memorial service for Nancy will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
