

Nancy Sahm Revard passed away Tuesday November 25, after a brief illness. She was born May 21, 1930 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Walter and Josephine (Freitag) Sahm. Nancy attended Indiana State University. She worked for the Dean of Students at Notre Dame University. In 1979, along with her late husband, Thomas D. Revard, Nancy co-founded The Bike Line in Broad Ripple and Carmel. For 30 years, she happily ran the business with her family, retiring in 2009. She was a longtime and dedicated member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choirs and volunteering on various committees. Nancy was fiercely loyal to her family and supported each and every one in their endeavors. She is survived by her six children, Teresa Miller (Randy), Thomas Revard, Jr. (Sarah), Josie Shannon (Ned), Charles Revard (Julie), William Revard (Helen), Jimmy Revard; brother, Walter Sahm; grandchildren, Thomas D. Revard, III, Andrew Revard, David Revard, Jason Revard, Josie Fisher, Stephanie Miller, Daniel Shannon, Molly Shannon, Nancy Shannon, Thomas W. Revard, Will Revard, Jr., and Charles Herbert Revard and eight great-grandchildren to cherish her memory. Nancy is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, grateful customers and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, William S. Sahm and sister, Mary K. Dury. There will be a calling on Sunday, November 30th from 4-7 at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary with a prayer service there on Monday, December 1st at 9 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St Joan of Arc Catholic church at 42nd and Central Ave. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Vincent Hospice or to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
