Nancy Donnelly York

Nancy Donnelly York, 81, of Carmel passed away September 27th, 2020. She was born on March 15, 1939 in Kingston, NY to the late Francis M. and Irene Lane Donnelly. She graduated from State University of New York - Plattsburgh and has a Masters Degrees in Nursing from IUPUI and Social Work from Columbia University. Nancy is survived by her sister Diane Mittelstaedt of Davie, Fl; her sons Christopher (Monique) of Carmel, Peter (Maria) of Garney Valley, PA, and Jeffrey of Indianapolis. She also has 4 grandchildren - Cassandar, Jenner, Jude and Ivana York. Nancy loved to learn, laugh and help people. She constantly read and enjoyed classic British sitcoms. She worked as a nurse and social worker around raising her family. She finished her career at Families First of Central Indiana and made many friends and helped a lot of people there.
