Tom Olgerts Apeinis, 82, of Indianapolis departed this life on June 20, 2024. Tom was born October 26, 1941 in Rezekne, Latvia to the late Antons and Viktorjia (Reiniks) Apenis. Tom grew up attending SS. Peter & Paul Cathedral and attended Cathedral Grade School and graduated from Shortridge High School in 1961. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Tom was a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, earning a degree in business in 1970. Tom worked for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in sales.
Tom is survived by his siblings Irene (Michael) Woods, John Apeinis and Rena (Warren) Chedd and nephews, Eric and Chad Woods.
Private graveside services at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis will be conducted by Msgr. Tony Volz of Christ the King Catholic Church.
