Patricia (Trish) Fry Mannen

Patricia (Trish) Fry Mannen, age 89, passed away in peace on August 9, 2018 at Copper Trace Senior Living in Carmel, Indiana, surrounded by her family. Trish was born in Franklin, Pennsylvania on November 29, 1928. She lived with her mother and father, Florence and Wesley Fry, and her siblings, Barbara Lieber, Tommy Fry, and Wes Fry. Trish left Franklin at the age of 18 to work in Washington D.C., where she met Leland Mannen from Waltonville, Illinois. They married in 1947 and remained happily together until his death in 2015. They had two daughters; Susan Smith lives with her husband,Rick Vincent, in Noblesville, Indiana, and Barbara Burcope lives with her husband, Rick Ranucci, in Carmel, Indiana. Trish and Leland lived in Speedway, Indiana for over fifty years. Trish was an avid golfer and an active parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church. Trish was a devoted, loving grandmother (Mamaw), joyfully caring for her four grandchildren: Emily Burcope of Carmel, Indiana, Tyler Burcope of Chicago, Illinois, Justin Burcope of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jessica Smith of Chicago, Illinois. Trish opened her heart and her home to all. She loved nothing more than caring for and cooking for family and friends. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and steadfast devotion to family. Trish's family and friends will carry this love and devotion with them, throughout their lives and beyond. Trish will be laid to rest next to her loving husband in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. There will be a celebration of life on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 at St. Christopher Church in Speedway, Indiana followed by a mass at St.Christopher Catholic Church. A graveside service will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery Indianapolis.
