This, in my opinion depicts Uncle Pats personality. Whenever we had an opportunity to be together he’d listen. I would talk about life, my health, family issues, life’s struggles.. he’d listen. He knew he didn’t hold all the answers., but he’d listen. 
Sometimes it’s what you don’t say that tells someone how much you love them. 
It’s that you’re just willing to listen..

My favorite memory would be when I was five.
It was Christmas Eve and Uncle Pat and Aunt Donna spent the night. Lisa and I got up to scout the Christmas tree about 2:00 am. Santa had come and left me a new guitar. I was thrilled! I ran in and woke  up Uncle Pat.
 “I got a new guitar!! Teach me how to play!”
He grinned.. that grin that formed the big dimple.. “Ok! He said.. can we do it tomorrow?” 
Looking back he probably thought, it’s 2am kid! Go back to bed! lol 
I never found a love for the instrument. I love to sing. He always encouraged me in that. Sending different songs. 
“Learn to sing this one! We’ll play it next time we see each other., Ok?” 
 No matter what the talent, he made you feel like you were special.
So.. 
I’ll keep practicing those songs he loved, and I’ll be ready!

Sending prayers and love to Donna and the entire family. I had the privilege of hearing so many wonderful things about him, and I’m thankful I had the chance to meet him. I loved all the stories he shared, and his love, devotion, and pride for Donna and his family showed in every one. He will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  I have known Pat for probably 55 years.  Always smiling ! Lots of great memories of the Wreck Center days, Carlisle County High school days, and then later, as my brother in law.  Lots of laughs and good memories! Pat, you will be missed! Loved you!

I never had the honor of meeting Pat (or Uncle Pat, as I’ve always heard him called), but I felt like I knew him because of the lifelong impact he had on his nephew and my friend, Whitt, as well as Whitt’s youngest son, Eric. They all shared a deep love for music and for each other. I knew he was a good man with much love in his heart for his family, and his passing will leave a huge hole in the hearts of many. I’m so very sorry for your heartbreaking loss.

I loved him so much. He was like a Dad to me and had been since I was little. He taught me a lot about music over the years but he taught me even more about love. Especially how to love others. I admired him more than any other man I've ever known. The love he had for his wife, kids, and grandkids was so evident. Every time he spoke about them, his eyes lit up and you knew they were loved well. I have so much more I could say about my Uncle Pat but I'm at a loss for words at the moment. He was the greatest man I've ever known.

My pops was an amazing soul.  I was beyond blessed to be his daughter.  Pops was always there for everything all the milestones in my life.  Was at every ball game and every band concert.  Even was my coach on some of my basketball, baseball, and softball teams.  I was truly blessed to always have a dad there supporting me, cheering me on and coaching me.  I’m going to miss your live concerts it’s what I called them just sitting in the living room jamming on the guitar or picking on the acoustic on the front porch.  Going to miss the songs you send and TikTok’s randomly to my messenger and in text at 2am knowing I would get them the next day and knowing I needed that good laugh of the day.  I’m forever grateful for all the memories and I’m so proud of you!!! Til we meet again pops 🫶 ♾️

Let's start out by saying you couldn't ask for a better friend, pat was so fun to be around  and we shared so many good times.  Working 10 hour days together and hanging out all weekend. I loved the times just hanging out and watching him play guitar 🎸 😍.  I will  miss you for now, but I know we will see each other in God's kingdom ❤️,  LOVE YOU MY BROTHER!!

I was a classmate of Pat’s at Cunningham Elementary School. When we were in 8th grade, he played ‘Jeremiah was a Bullfrog’ on his guitar while the whole 8th grade class sang along. Pat was really into playing  the song while we were singing our hearts out.  Our school’s music teacher had a musical for parents and friends and that’s what our class performed. Pat was always kind and polite with a smile on his face. Prayers for God’s peace and comfort for Pat’s family.
