Paul Frederick Wheat

Paul Frederick Wheat Sr. was born May 15, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Hubert Wheat and Marrine (Peacock) Wheat. He was the sixth of seven children born to this union. He confessed his love and faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. Paul attended Shortridge High School but graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. He enrolled at Ivy Tech in an Apprenticeship Program and became a Journeyman. Paul loved bricklaying and a lot of his work can be seen around the city of Indianapolis.

Paul married May 8, 1988 to Debbie (Bennett) Wheat and shared ten years of marriage. To that union Rachelle Denise Wheat and Paul Frederick Wheat Jr., were born. Paul loved to be around family, friends, and Lodge members. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music, and hosting family bar-b-ques. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Paul Wheat Sr., passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the age of 56. Paul is survived by his children, Rachelle Wheat and Paul Wheat Jr., his grandchildren, Leilani Miles, and Payton Wheat; siblings Edward Wheat(Jackie), Rose Wheat, and Florine Hughes (Kevin) and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert Wheat and Marrine (Peacock) Wheat and siblings, Priscilla (Wheat) Norwood, Hubert Wheat Jr., and Hiram Wheat.
