

A woman of unwavering faith, Peggy dedicated her life to serving God and her family. Her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did, and her kindness, compassion, nurturing spirit and selflessness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Ms. White was a homemaker. She was devoted to feeding her family and community, ensuring no one went without. She developed a passion for doing hair, a talent she shared with many throughout her life. Her skill of artistry brought joy to those she served, and she always had a way of making others feel beautiful, both inside and out. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews “The Children of America” as she would say. Creating memories that will be cherished forever.
A lover of nature, environment, and community-service Ms. White found peace and inspiration in the world around her, you would often find her picking up trash in the nearby alley way and/or sweeping the sidewalk, attending to her garden, or watering her flowers.
Peggy was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Edward R. & Madie B. White and loving brother Donald R. White, and sister Patricia A. White.
Peggy is survived by her three loving children, Son: Ronald E. Alexander Jr., Daughters: Ronsheka S. Collier (Andre), Aeisha S. Anwar- Finkton (Darryl), and devoted siblings Brothers: Marcus G. White, Edward R. White Sr. (Angie), Gary White (Emily); Sisters: Edwina Berry (Odell), Sheila Washington (Ronald), Suzanne L. White; Grandchildren: Brandon Crawford, Darian Collier, Teuion Johnson, Demetrius Collier, Chance Finkton, and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Peggy will be remembered for her selfless acts of kindness, and her compassion for others.
A Celebration of Life Service for Peggy will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
