Phillip Loran Nelson

73, of Indianapolis, died February 28, 2018. He was born May 13, 1944. He worked a Eli Lilly and Company in the capsule plant. Phil was a member of the Prospect Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and had a great love for his family. He is survived by his wife Karen Pickard Nelson, sons Rodney Nelson, Randy Nelson, step children Christina Bishop, James Hayden. 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. A celebration of Phil’s life will be Wednesday March 7 at noon at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary with visitation from 11 until service time. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Garden.
