

Mr. Ralph Jackson Dupee Jr. age 71 entered into rest on April 21, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was born on July 2, 1950, in Indianapolis, IN at General Hospital to Ralph Jackson Dupee Sr. and Blanche Jeanette Dupee.
Ralph received his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System. He received his vocational certification for Carpentry and high school diploma in the summer of 1968 at Arsenal Technical High School.
During his time in the Carpentry program, he trained and worked at Eli Lilly & Company in which he dedicated his career to Eli Lilly for over 40 years and retired in December 2007. During his time at Eli Lilly, he met the love of his life Deborah Boyd. He and Deborah were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Valarie Rene’ Dupee on, January 23, 1986, made from heavenly love. Ralph and Deborah were united in love and married September 14, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ralph professed a hope in Christ at an early age. Ralph was a member of Barnes United Methodist Church and was involved in the Van Ministry, Basketball Ministry, and was a member of the Men’s Usher Board. He frequently attended The Abundant Church with his wife. At the time of his death, he was a member at Barnes United Methodist Church.
Ralph was a member of the Crystal Crusader’s (The Wrecking Crew) and Eli Lilly Ski Clubs. He coached his daughter’s basketball team at Tabernacle Recreation and also participated in the Basketball ministry at Barnes UMC as a coach for the youth basketball team. Ralph truly was an adventure seeker. Some of his adventures included snow skiing, fishing, riding his motorcycle and white-water rafting. He also had a love for cars, was a great gardener, loved traveling with his family, watching old black & white westerns, being outdoors and watching sports. He was an avid storyteller about any subject and would share them with whoever would listen. He loved the water and was a boat enthusiast. Ralph loved having a good time and tremendously loved and enjoyed the company of his family and friends. Ralph never met a stranger. His laughter filled every room and heart. Ralph was known by some as “Uncle Coogi”, “Jackie Junior”, “RJ”, and “Ralpho”. He was a warm-hearted loving Man, Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Cousin, and Friend.
Ralph is preceded in death by his daughter Vanessa Sylvia Dupee, father (Ralph Jackson Dupee Sr.) all of his grandparents, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Deborah Dupee, daughter Valarie Dupee, granddaughter, Brielle Dupee-Burns, Mother, Blanche Dupee, sister, Rene Dupee, Aunt, Callie Richardson, Cousins, William Owsley, Dawn Dawson, Cheryl Dawson Anita Dupee, Kim Boyd, Olivia Owsley Garrett, a host of nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Monty Dupee.
