Ralph Randolph, son of the late Ester and Mary H. Randolph, was born May 23, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended public school, including Arsenal Technical High School. Ralph accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Abyssinian Missionary Baptist Church.
Ralph had two children, Sheron and Ralph, from a previous marriage. In 1980, Ralph was united in Holy Matrimony to Joyce F. Hampton. From this union came two children, Lydia and Antonio.
Ralph was employed at George Fern Exposition Decorating Company for over 25 years. He retired from working in 2013 due to health issues.
Ralph, also known as Birdman, liked sports, music, and hanging out with family and friends. He also loved to play cards, dominos, and watching TV.
Ralph was a family man. He was loved by many.
Ralph departed this life on April 18, 2024, surrounded by family.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and two brothers: Delbert and Vernell Randolph. He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Joyce F.; children: Sheron Randolph (Walter) Vaughn, Ralph P. (Tara) Randolph, Lydia Randolph, Antonio (Michelle) Randolph; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two brothers, three sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Ralph will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 PM.
