Ray M Cunningham

Ray was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. He was a member of Mars Hill Free Methodist Church of Indianapolis. Ray loved golf, fishing, puzzles and games. Ray also enjoyed woodcrafting. He was a real jokester doing anything to make you laugh. Ray and his wife Ella are former residents of Florida before returning to Indianapolis.

Ray married Ella Teckenbrock January 8, 1982 in Indianapolis.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roy Cunningham; sister, Ruth Idell Cunningham; sister-in-law, Tomi Cunningham; brother-in-law, Marshall James; and one great-grandchild.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Ella A Cunningham; sons, Gary Cunningham (Jeannine) and Larry Cunningham (Karen); daughter, Tina McManama (Ron); step-son, Stephen Parks; step-daughter, Beverly Blake (Robert); sister, Rita James; grandchildren, Angela, Brian, Brady, Jamie, Derek, Carisa, Lesli and Kristin; and seven great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Monday, December 1st from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road. A funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday, December 2nd at 12:00pm, with calling for one hour prior, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 2:00pm in Washington Park East Cemetery.
