Regina Cheatham

Regina (GiGi) Cheatham, 54, transitioned from this life on Thursday, September 10, 2020, peacefully, at home, with her only daughter by her side. Regina was born on August 15, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Bonita (Curtis) and Reginald Cheatham. A woman who loved God and music that made her dance, Regina lived to the fullest the best she knew how. Bowling, billiards, playing solitaire (any card game really), and spending time with those she loved were her favorite pass times. In this life, she did her best to bring the sunshine with her wherever she went. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Reggie, and is survived by her daughter, Natasha (Tasha Marie) Cheatham; aunt, Janet Cheatham-Bell; cousins, Kevin KC Cheatham, Miguel Mickey, Madganna Mickey, Greg Cheatham, Michael Cheatham, and W. Kamua Bell; as well as a host of loving family and friends. A small memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:30 pm, at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home (5252 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46218). A balloon release will immediately follow the service at 3426 N. Grant Ave, 3:30 pm. For those who are unable to attend, Williams & Bluitt will also live-stream on Facebook.
