Regina Mcleod

81, of Dallas, TX, formerly of Indianapolis, peacefully departed this life Friday, October 28, 2011, surrounded by family. Regina was born January 23, 1930, in Camden, NJ to Nicholas and Blanche Wielusz. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a graduate of Indiana Business College. Regina was a secretary for Allison Secretarial services for 6 years, retiring in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 and ½ years, Jim who came back to get her just 14 days after he left us. They are now together for all eternity. She is also preceded in death by her loving son, Jim III who left us 7 years ago. He is survived by his daughters, Karen McLeod Ellis (Mack) and Lisa Martin (Rick Stagner), plus three grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Patrick and Michael Ellis.

Reggie loved life and lived each day to the fullest. She loved her bridge and euchre clubs, her bowling league, walking with neighbors, her wonderful garden and spending the last few years with their daughters and grandchildren in Texas. Every night before bed Reggie prayed on her knees to St. Jude who always helped her thru hard times and God.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm, Friday, November 4, in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Indianapolis, with calling beginning at 10:00 am in the Church narthex. Entombment will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Alzheimer's Association or to donor's charity of choice.
