Rev. LeRoy Dinkins Jr., 75, Indianapois, passed away on December 27,2013. He was born on April 7, 1938 to the late Leroy S. Dinkins, Sr. and Daisy M. (Noel) Dinkins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marian Dinkins, Sr. He retired fron the city of Indianapolis Trustee Department under the leadership of Julia Carson. Rev. Dinkins was an Assosiate Pastor at New Garfield MBC and also President Emeritus of The Concerned Clergy, Inc.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley P. Dinkins, sons, CSM Steven (Michelle), LeRoy ll (Sandra), Keith Dinkins, daughters, Cynthia and Cassandra Dinkins, April Bell, Breta Jelks, Gina Mason, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11am at Grater St. James MBC, 3101 E. Raymond Ave. Indianapolis 46203, with visitation from 9am to11am.
