Robert worked for General Motors, his friends knew him as "BJ". He retired after 21 years from the Truck and Bus facility. Many coworkers will remember him as being such a joy to work with. Robert enjoyed sports, he was a known golf enthusiast. He was a member of several organizations, such as, the UAW, the American Legion of Greenwood, and the VFW with him having served in the US Army.
Robert is survived by daughters; Marilyn Finney, Barbara Bertram (Charles), and Roberta Cahoe (Mitchel); brother, Steven Jordan. Grandchildren; Andrew, Charles, Ryan, Sarah, Jennifer, and Tiffany. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Ralph Jordan, Dennis Jordan, and Jon Jordan.
A memorial gathering for Robert will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Crestwood Village Apartments, 8801 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. He leaves behind many friends there.
