Roberta "Bobbie" Jane Frank

Roberta ( Bobbie ) Frank born March 13, 1933 in Martinsburg, Missouri. ended her journey here on earth on Dec. 29, 2024. She was surrounded by those who love her as she peacefully went from their arms into the arms of God.

After losing both parents at the age of 11, Bobbie grew up to be an amazingly strong, independent woman, wife and mother. Her love for family was evident in all she did. She lived her life fearlessly. The things she enjoyed doing the most were gardening, fishing, going to garage sales, traveling and reading. Once her vision failed her audio books became her favorite past time,

Bobbie had a career as a Federal employee for many years. However she was happiest while working in the office of a family physician which she did until she retired in her early 70s.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Philomine Folta, her sisters Marie Dobbs and Gladys Brinker, her husband of over 50 years Joe, and her eldest child Jay. She is survived and will be greatly missed by children Cheri White (Mike,) John Frank (Donna,) Beth Frank, and Rebecca Hensley who she lovingly called her third daughter. She also leaves behind and will be missed by both her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.,Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the Our Lady of Peace Chapel at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 9001 Haverstick Road in Indianapolis followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
