To Rosanne and all her family,
  It was evident to others how much your mom's life was about family.  She was so proud of you all and the families that you have. We know that those memories will keep her close even though she can't be here on earth.  We are including you in our prayers.

Rosanne, please extend my sympathy to your family on your loss. Your mom was as warm as I remembered  when I saw you both a few years ago. I can only imagine all the great memories you have to savor.

What wonderful memories of the McDowell family I have from SJA days to many Christmas midnight masses and beyond. All made possible because of Rosanne and Tim. The Irish eyes are smiling  as all the saints sing glory to His name. Blessings to all.

Tim and all, so many of my high school memories include you father and mother. You could hear your mom's laughter the minute the door opened.  Your parents had more than 5 kids - they had the northside... I know you all will have memories that will put a smile on your face.  I will remember her fondly.  Beth Ann McLane Clark

Each of you received a special angel when you were born.  Her name was Rosanne.  You were her sun, moon and stars and she took great pride in her role of motherhood.  Although she has left you for a while, she is just at the bend in the road, one that she shared with you, all that God asked of her.  God brought her home to rest.  He must be very proud of her.  Although your hearts are broken, your mother would want you to carry on for her.

Once in a while we cross paths with someone with whom we immediately connect. Rosanne was one of those people in my life...a wonderful person, a great "office buddy" and a friend who will be greatly missed.

Dave, I am sorry about your loss. Your mother was something else! Although i have vague memories of the Guildford days like her teaching us all how to twist in your living room, my current memories serve me better. It was quite an adventure attending church sunday mornings with your mom at st pius. she and my mom would literally gossip and talk through out the entire mass like two school girls ! It certainly was the highlight of my moms week catching up with roxanne ! she was the kindest, sweetest lady who truly had a love for live. You and your siblings will continue her legacy of living life to the fullest. The next couple days will be difficult but you also will be hearing from the many different people your mother touched. Tim, Tom, David, Rosanne and Kathleen - Was so sorry to hear about your mom.  Your parents were awesome.  I remember ALL those crazy times at each other's houses when our parents would get together with their group, lots of times with the kids in tow.  Those were some great times for all!  I have many fond memories of your beautiful mother.  She was so sweet and kind, with a heart as big as the world.  Attached is a picture my mom sent to me today of a girls' lunch back in 2002 when my mom came back to Indy for a visit.  They truly had a zest for life, that's for sure!  I am sure there's a party going on Up there with all that have gone before us.  May your memories always be sweet and may God wrap His loving arms around you all as you continue honor your beautiful mom and wonderful memories, from childhood and beyond!

McDowell Family,
I will miss your mom! Was able to visit with her a couple times when Sr. Susan brought her to see dad. My fondest memories of your mom is when she had a brief stint as our Cathedral tennis coach, she was one of a kind. Always happy, and laughed about almost anything. Always ready with a big hug and genuinely loved catching up with whoever she was talking to! She will be missed! Mom will be there to greet her and I can just see the 2 of them having a lot of laughs!

I loved Aunt Rosanne.  I send my love to my entire McDowell family on your loss. I though of her and mom this morning.  Mom greeting Aunt Rosanne in an opra voice sing "Oh Rosanne" and Aunt Rosanne returning with an "Oh Margaret." as they use to do when we were kids.  I imagined them both with Uncle Tim and Dad having a good laugh from heaven smiling down upon us.  My love from Germany, Danny
