

RosaLee, Rosie, Ms. Rosie, Bud (Rose Bud), Aint Rosie, Ms. Bibbs, Babe, Lil Baby, Granny, Mama, so many shoes to fill!
Rosie was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was born on July 15, 1941 in Hollandale, Mississippi to the late Daniel Ballard and Elizabeth Coleman-Ballard. Rosie was educated in Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Shortridge High School. She attended 2 years at Indiana Business College. Rosie retired from Wishard Hospital in 1999.
In August of 1987, she received "Employee of the Month", for her outstanding performance on Pediatric Unit of which she worked 7 years. Rosie had worked for Wishard Hospital over 38 years.
When she was able, Ms. Bibbs loved shopping for bargains, anywhere from yard sales, to thrift stores, to L.S. Ayres. Ms. Bibbs was direct and didn't sugar coat her words. She would "Let you have it", with love.
Rosie is predeceased by her husband, Walter L. Bibbs Sr., brother, Willie D. Ballard Sr., parents, Daniel and Elizabeth Ballard, son-in-law, Tunde Omotoye and her sister by choice, life-long friend, JoAnn Wilson -Rice, they shared over 70 years of sisterhood and friendship.
Rosie leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Pamela E. Omotoye, grandchildren; Eiren J. Rowley, Denzel J. Bishop (Alexandra), and Jadesola A. Omotoye, bonus great-grandchildren, Jeremiah D, and Anayah K. Barnett-Lovett and a host of relatives and friends.
