Roy Glen Hendricks

Roy Glen Hendricks, Sr., 93, passed away March 21, 2015. Roy was born April 22, 1921 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Thelma and Everrett Hendricks. Glen was a WWII veteran having served in the Navy SeeBees in the Philippines and China.

Glen attended Purdue University after the war and worked in management at Eli Lilly for over 40 years. He was also very active in Little League, Junior Baseball, The Boy Scouts, and the Warren Township PTA during the 1950s and early 1960s.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Mary Jean (Robinson) and his second wife of 17 years Joan (Locke) as well as his sisters Phillis Denker and Reba McPhearson, daughter Beckie Knight, and granddaughter Meshell Neese.

Glen is survived by his brother Jimmie Hendricks (JoAnn), son Skip Hendricks (Jenny), granddaughter Dominique Canada, step-daughters Jan Demick (Larry), Susan Nogee (Jim), and great-grandchildren Aubrey Neese, Corrine Neese, Madison Neese, and Calvin Smith.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in Crown Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be private to the family at a later time. If you would like to sign the online guest book or send condolences to the family you may do so by visiting www.crownhill.org .
