Ruby "Toi" Inez Whitfield, age 52, of Avon, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Toi was born October 30, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Rosie Arnold and Joseph Whitfield. She had a beautiful voice and shared it as she loved music and singing. Toi also enjoyed taking trips, particularly "glamping" in cabins. She loved spending time with Teresa and family and she battled cancer courageously and is at rest with her companion yorkie mix, Laylah, passed only a few months ago.
Toi is survived by her wife, Teresa Morgan; sons, Jeremiah Hendrix, Bryan Hendrix, and Christopher Morgan (Danielle); siblings, Perry Arnold (Sabrina) and Gloria Green (Calvin); granddaughter, Aaliyah Morgan; new rescue dog, Ninnah; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224.
