Sally Jane Ingalls

Sally Jane Ingalls, age 67, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 surrounded by her family. Sally was born June 5, 1954 the daughter of Harry and Mary Ingalls. She was born and raised in Indianapolis and went to Fleming Garden Grade School and Ben Davis Junior High School. Sally worked in the dietary department of Central State Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Short, sisters, Linda and Julianna.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Candy Thatcher and her husband Chris; her son Bobby Short; 6 grandchildren, Chad, Corey, Josh, Jeremy, Bobby Jo and Chloe; 5 great-grandchildren, Christian, Judah, Benjamin, Mia and Jaxx; her sisters, Rosemary, Donna, Jessie; brothers, Harry, Ronnie and Billy; her sister-in-law, Diana Hundley; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, Indiana.
