Sandra "Sandy" Sue Pickerell

Sandra (Sandy) Sue Pickerell, age 68 of Indianapolis, Indiana past way on Saturday March 16th, 2024 surrounded around loving family and friends. A devote christian, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, widow, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Lee Pickerell; her mother, Thelma Newsom; and father, Charles Newsom; and her sister, June Profitt.

Sandra leaves behind her 2 children, Timothy D Newsom and his wife Sara Newsom , her daughter Shawna Rowley and her husband Thomas Rowley. Her grandchildren Ashley Newsom, Timothy Newsom, David Newsom, Patrick Young, Aaron Pickerell, Melanie Newsom, Joshua Newsom, Johnny Newsom, Savannah Milam; her nine beautiful great- grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Snow ,Pat Morgan and Betty Scherrer as well as her many nieces and nephews and their families.

A visitation for Sandy will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219. A second visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 PM, also at the mortuary.

Sandy will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
