Sara Eileen Molloy Bower

Sara Eileen Molloy Bower, age 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Sara was born December 18, 1957 in Kansas City to John and Patricia (Gallagher) Molloy. She graduated from Ball State university with a degree in Interior design from the school of architecture. During her time at Ball State, she began a long friendship of women “ The Ball State /Clear Lake girls “. They still travel once a year to meet and are in constant contact.

Sara worked for RCA for 19 years and retired from Havertys furniture store. Sara and Fred met at the Shi-Kay lounge on St. Patrick’s Day. Sara approached Fred to notify him there was no Santana on the jukebox. Sara and Fred married on April 4th, 1998. She loved her 2 dogs, Ernie Banks and Bonnie Raitt, and her beloved Winnie and Buddy.

Sara is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Fred Bower; step daughter, Melissa Anderson; siblings, Patricia (Donnie) Gill, John Christopher (Kathy) Molloy and Michael (Michelle) Molloy; and 18 nieces and nephews. Sara was preceded in passing by her parents, John and Patricia Molloy.

A visitation for Sara will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46219. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow at Manley's Irish Mutt, 7041 E. 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
