Shelley Lynn Danehy

Shelley Lynn Danehy, 54, of Greenwood, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. Shelley was born in Indianapolis to Lonnie and Vicki (Smith) Powell on July 23, 1971. She graduated from Center Grove High School 1989. She married Allan Danehy on September 12, 1992 in Indianapolis. She worked most of her life as a dry cleaning manager and later as a pharmacy technician at Kroger. Shelley cherished her family above all else. Shelley enjoyed shopping, interior decorating, gardening, laying by the pool, and spoiling her grandbabies.

Shelley is proceeded in death by her Great-Grandparents Kirby Smith and Musette Smith, her Grandma Ruth (Ruth Smith) and her Aunt Musetta (Musetta Osborn).

Shelley is survived by her husband Allan Danehy II, her children Shelby Danehy-Henry (Rock) and Danielle Danehy-Chandler (Jake), her sisters Christina Scott (Dennis) and Angela Kendall (Christopher), her parents Lonnie and Vicki Powell, her grandchildren Grainger Henry (6), Lenox Henry (4), Briggs Henry (4), and Carter Chandler (1), her aunt Mary Andrews (Chris), her nieces: Kailey Powell, Kiersten Powell, Jessica Scott, Addyson Kendall, her great-nephew Kaison Powell, and countless cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, February, 19th from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Friday, February 20th from 12:00 P.M to 1:00 P.M. at Little & Sons Funeral Home located at 4901 E Stop 11 Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46237. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 20th. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery located at 620 West Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46142.
