Mother Martin was so kind and thoughtful to.  Presenting me with a special Mother's day gift that she did not have to do.  I cherish my sweet gift and think of her when I  wear it.   Love and will sincerely miss you Mother Martin.

He also promised never to leave you nor to forsake you.

My deepest condolences to Tanya’s  family. I had the pleasure of working with Tanya for many years at the Marion County Public Health Department.  She was  a dear sister friend and was empathetic, smart, helpful and funny. She had a special bond  with many  young vulnerable pregnant and parenting clients and their families. She also greatly   helped to  improve their health and lives. We were blessed by her presence and miss her.

I met Tonya back in 2008 at the health department. We work together until 2013 and we just continued our friendship after she was a wonderful person. She will be truly missed.

Tanya was a blessed and good and peaceful soul.  We had so much fun and laughs together for over 20 years.  We first met when we worked together at the Marion County Health Department at 21st and Arlington.  Tanya touched so many lives personally and professionally.  Even when I left Indianapolis in 2003 we continued to stay in touch.  I came back to visit in 2006 and we got together and had lunch, that was the last time I saw Tanya.  But distance didn't separate us.  We talked daily.  I love you my sister.  God has another angel in His kingdom.

Tanya was just like a sister to me, my heart is broken but I know that she is resting peacefully in God's arms.  I will never forget her, she will always be a part of me.  I love you my sister, you are truly free.

My dearest family friend is now resting in heaven and will be greatly missed! Me and my family will miss our friend and loved one and Ms Tanya Martin will always be near in our hearts! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️
