Teddy was born in Hannibal, Missouri on August 15, 1956. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the first Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm). He was awarded several medals including the Bronze Star. After retiring as Master Sergeant from the United States Army he worked for the United States Postal Service until he retired from there as well. He enjoyed being around his dog Daisy, collecting antiques, working on his pond, small handyman projects, listening to country music, and watching movies. He was a lover of all things Harley Davidson and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Teddy is survived by his wife Rae Ann, his daughter Jessica (Joe Don) of Sterling, IL, his son David (Samantha) of Brownsburg, IN, his two step daughters Andrea (Josh) and Erin (Nick) both of Noblesville, IN, and his 8 grandchildren: Christopher, Jason, Kalyb, Alex, Claire, Bridget, Evan, and Charlie.
He is also survived by 6 siblings: 4 sisters: Linda, Joyce, Darlene, and Christina and 2 brothers: Terry and Buddy.
