Terry and I were second cousins and did not share much time together. So, my memories are few but meaningful. He always struck me as congenial, engaging, and thoughtful. Qualities that will linger in our spiritual kinship forever.
Though our lives took different paths, I respected his humanity and especially , his devotion to his mother in her last years. May we continue to strive to achieve our own true devotions in life. 
Terry, gone too soon, may you rest in peace!

Please know how saddened I was to learn of my cousin Terry's passing.  He lived life to its fullest not letting his battle diminish his joy of living.  His devotion to Auntie Jack throughout her life reflected his love, devotion, and commitment to family.   And, even as a cousin, I will also say he was "easy on the eyes"! 😄😄😄😄  Terry will be missed.  Condolences to his children and his sisters and the nieces, nephews,  and friends he leaves behind.

He often visited my family and communicated more frequently. His special sense of humor and perspective will be missed. He loved his daughters tremendously and family was important to him. We met in the late ’80s through a mutual friend, and a friendship began and stayed for the rest of his life.  

I will miss him—our laughter, we laughed a lot, our conversations, especially the “spirited” ones😂, and the heartfelt talks as his time here grew shorter.  He was always kind, polite and respectful.  

Terence so loved his daughters and never missed a chance to brag on them!!  His “twins” and his baby girl.  I didn’t have to ask about them he would immediately start to share milestones from the time they were small until the very end.  He was so proud to be a girl Dad X3!

I thank Jesus for the gift of our friendship and for time we were blessed to share. I find peace knowing he loved the Lord, is no longer in pain, and is now resting in God’s presence.

Gone but will never be forgotten 🙏🏽💔prayers to his family and especially his 3 beautiful daughters.

Hi Terry, the best memory that will always stay with me is when we lived in Oakdale in Peru Indiana. It was in the winter, cold and snowy morning. Moma and daddy just left for work leaving me in charge to make sure we caught our bus to Victory School in the country. I was about 14  or 15 years old. We were waiting inside the house looking out the window for the bus. All of a sudden the bus arrived. We ran out the house, I rushed to lock the door, ran down the snowy stairs into the deep snow & suddenly dropped the key in the snow. We both panicked trying to find that key in the snow, hands & fingers cold & freezing, crying . We had to end up waiving to the bus driver to go on. 
We finally found the key. Thank you Lord. Once we got in the house still crying from pain in our fingers we turned the heat on & held our hands over the vents to thaw out our fingers. Wow why did we do that? It made it worse. Our fingers started throbbing & in enormous pain. We started screaming and crying more. I’m yelling through my cries to you to shut up and you yelling back at me as well. After our fingers & hands were warm and had feeling in them, we started thinking;  how are we going to tell moma why we missed school. After we settled down, warm & comfortable we were able to go back in time that day & laugh about how we behaved.  I will always remember that day.
I love you Terry and I will truly miss you.
