

Indianapolis, passed away December 15, 2016. He was born August 12, 1918 in Indianapolis, the son of Michael and Mary McKeon. Tom was a proud American and Irish citizen. He served in the 5th U. S. Army Artillery during WWII in Italy. He was a skilled craftsman for the AFLCIO Graphic Communication Workers Union #17 as a printing pressman. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, the Indianapolis Hiking Club and a dedicated environmentalist. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Mary Rose (nee Luzar) McKeon, sisters Mary and Margaret. Survived by sons, Thomas J McKeon and Daniel M. (Christine) McKeon, grandchildren Noell (Scott) Richmond and Heather McKeon, great grandchildren Kaine Stuart, Vada Kirkhoff, Hailey Richmond, and Lillian Sutton. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, from 10 am – 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 North Shadeland Ave. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
