94, of Indianapolis, died June 4, 2016. She was born December 28 1921 in Masterton, New Zealand to George L. and Mon Ami Doris Tui Harris Hessell. She came to the United States in 1946. Then she married Bernard Anderson. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, bowling, playing card, Wi. Valda is survived by her children Donna Wisthoff, Mark (Sam) Anderson, Judy (Marcus) Neyenhaus, Chris Hagerty, Joe (Kim) Anderson. 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband’s Bernard J. Anderson, Rex Morell, son Michael Anderson and great granddaughter Victoria. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 8 at 10 am at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7 from 2 – 8 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
