Varsay "Vj" Tamba Johnson

Varsay “VJ” Johnson born in Monrovia, Liberia on March 1, 1968, to the parents of Eleana Fallah and Samual Johnson. Varsay came to America in 1983 at the age of 15. VJ attended Cody High school in Detroit, MI where he graduated, then continued his education at Oakland Community College in Southfield, MI.

In 1999 Varsay made Indianapolis, IN his home where he chose to set roots and start a family, (2000-2008). VJ met and married his ex-wife Camena McCraney-Johnson where they had identical twin boys and one stepson.

Varsay met his fiancé Tonya Webb in 2016, they loved traveling together and spending time with their cat “Chocolate”.

VJ worked in Car Sales for 25 years throughout Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas, he last worked for York Automotive Group. Varsay passionately enjoyed exercising, staying fit, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Varsay “VJ” Johnson was preceded in death by his son Kyle Varsay Johnson, and maternal grandparents: Watta Youngoh and Henry Fallah.

Varsay is survived by son Kendall Kharri Johnson and stepson Kharri Kahlfani Rancifer; mother Eleana Fallah; Siblings: William (Elmira) Peal Sr, Tennah Fallah, Nathan Fallah Sr; Fiancé Tonya Webb; Maternal Aunts: Elizabeth Mcrae, Finda Amet, Rowena Reeves; Nieces: Samantha, Eleana, Paige, Kadijah, Keima, Se’mone, Re’Neh, Faith, Rochelle; Nephews: William Jr, Nathan Jr; Cousins: Kofi, Mamie, Douglas, Tenneh, Nomu, Henrietta, Wilhelmina, Jimetta, and a host of family, friends, and co-workers.
