She was a member of Greater One Way Apostolic Church.
Her mother, Lillie Mae Gates Johnson, father, Jerry Johnson, step-mother, Myrtis Johnson, brothers, Bruce Troope, Earnest Troope, sister, Vanessa Johnson preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Rufus Edwards, daughter, Talmeaka Johnson, brothers, Jerry Johnson Jr (Exlantha), Willie Johnson (Patricia), Robert Johnson, Elvis Troope, Larry Johnson (Elvira), Ray Johnson, sisters, Lillie Page, Brida Parson (Clyde), Mattie Rogers (John), host of other relatives and friends.
Her visitation will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015, 10am- 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Greater One Way Apostolic Church. His burial will take place in Washington Park North Cemetery.
