Walter L. Smith Sr. age 79, was called home on February 18, 2019. Walter was born on July 22, 1939 to loving parents Cornelius Smith Sr. and Virginia Allen Smith. Walter was a dutiful member of Messiah Missionary Baptist Church. He served on the Security and Usher board. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius Smith Sr. and Virginia Allen Smith; 5 brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories son's, Walter L Smith Jr., Cornelius Smith(Rhonda), Michael Leon Smith and Larry Coe; daughters, Odessa Smith, Virginia Smith, Joanna Gilbert, Nicole Jackson(Rod), Doris Coe and Joyce Bess-Smith; brother, J.W. Smith; spouse's Ruth E. Wadungton-Smith and Deanna Coe-Smith a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
