Washington Nance, Sr. 85 years of Indianapolis. Passed away Wed. Feb. 22, 2012. He was employed by Chrysler Foundry Retiring after 38 years of service. He was a member U.A.W. Local Union; He was a Mechanic and owner of Bird’s Auto Mechanics Shop on 30th and Sherman for years. He is survived by, wife; Georgia M. Nance, sons; Washington Nance, Jr. and Michael Nance, daugs.; Betty Jean Johnson, Ernestine Williams (Eddie), Brenda K. Nance, Anita Nance Randle (Willie),and Emma J. Nance, bros; Havert Nance (Emma) and Willie Nance, sis.; Anna M. Shinn, 22 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews. Funeral Service will be held Tues. Feb. 28, 2012 12:00 Noon at Grace Missionary Baptist Church , 1501 N. College Ave. with calling from 10:00 a.m. Burial Crown Hill.
