Wayne was a member of Faith Baptist Church for the last 47 years. He loved the Lord with his whole heart and spread the good word to all he came in contact with. He had a fierce love for his family! His loving wife, Clara, of 46 years! Family meant everything to Wayne, and each one uniquely special in his eyes!
He had many loves in his life; golfing, especially on the perfect day (sunny and 70 degrees), and bowling. He was on a bowling league for 66 consecutive years and rolled many 300 games. Most people knew of his love of chocolate and ice cream. He was delighted if you came for a visit and brought a chocolate Frosty.
He was an Army Veteran, and always stated he was proud to serve his country!
Wayne worked 22 years for the Schweitzer Cooperation. Upon retirement from Schweitzer, Wayne went on to run his own courier service and his last 25 years he ran a courier route for Balkamp.
